Mississauga Youth Poetry Slam

Every year we host our annual Poetry Slam, an evening dedicated to expression through spoken word.

A number of young artists sign up to share their poetry to an audience and a panel of judges. The event also features an open-mic session, where anyone is invited to share their spoken art, from stand-up comedy to music.

As the first event of its kind in Mississauga, the event extends a platform through which youth can share their art and understand the value of their words.
